We’re incredibly excited to announce that demolition is complete on the proposed additional site for McKinnon Secondary College. This is an important milestone for what will eventually become a secondary campus for this exemplar school. Working with our clients, the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) and McKinnon Secondary College, this brings us one step closer to realising what is a much-needed addition to this high performing school. There is desperate need for greater capacity, and this new campus will hopefully offer many more opportunities for the young minds at the school.
Being one of a number of new vertical schools to be rolled out by the Labor Government since 2017, McKinnon’s new campus optimises its land space. It features a four-storey building with contemporary learning spaces and a gymnasium that accommodates for 650 students to stay active and healthy.
