We are incredibly proud to congratulate Luke Moran on his exceptional achievement in completing an ultramarathon and raising an outstanding $3,033.98 in support of Children’s Ground, a First Nations not-for-profit organisation.
Luke took on the challenging ultramarathon, which saw him tackle a grueling 50 km course with over 2,000 meters of elevation through the stunning landscapes of Marysville. Despite the tough terrain, Luke completed the race in just over six hours, an impressive feat that speaks to his dedication and resilience.
Throughout his journey, Luke has gone above and beyond in his fundraising efforts. By reaching out to both his personal and professional networks, he has successfully raised more than $3,000 to support Children’s Ground, with generous matching contributions from K2LD and the Payton Foundation, bringing the total raised to an incredible $12,135.
Children’s Ground is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to creating meaningful and sustainable change for First Nations children and their communities. Through innovative education, cultural support, and community-led initiatives, the charity empowers children to thrive, while promoting the preservation and growth of First Nations culture. Luke’s efforts are helping to ensure that Children’s Ground can continue its vital work in these communities.
We want to thank Luke for his hard work and commitment, and for inspiring us all with his determination and generosity. We also want to thank everyone who supported his fundraising campaign — your contributions will help create lasting change for First Nations children and families.
