Whether you’re beginning your journey or seeking guidance to elevate your career, our mentorship initiatives are here to empower you at every step. At K2LD, we recognise the importance of mentorship in nurturing the next generation of architects and interior designers. For individuals embarking on their PARCs course, K2LD is proud to offer a dedicated mentoring program designed to provide valuable support throughout the journey toward becoming a registered architect.
Committees

Social Events
- Weekly Morning tea – weekly morning tea gatherings. A perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and enjoy pastries and coffee.
- Friday drinks – Celebrating the weeks accomplishments, mingle with colleagues, and kick off the weekend.
- Quarterly activities – outing such as winery lunches, lawn bowls, mini golf, the zoo and more.

Flexible working arrangements
At K2LD we have embraced a flexible working approach, with an aim to enhance work-life balance and promote the individual well-being of our each of our team. Whist we see huge value in face-to-face interaction we understand the benefits of a hybrid model. Our flexible working hours enable you to tailor your schedule to accommodate personal commitments whilst ensuring the commitments of your role are being met.
Wellbeing days
K2LD provides two wellbeing days per year to acknowledge the importance of mental health and provide our team with the flexibility to address personal needs without the pressure of taking traditional sick leave. In addition to this, our team also have access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.
Parental leave
- We acknowledge the need for flexibility and time off for individuals who play significant roles in supporting their families.
- K2LD provides permanent staff who are primary carers up to 8 weeks leave above the government standards (based on years of service) and 12-month paid superannuation.
- For secondary careers K2LD provide an additional 2 weeks leave above the government standards.
Menopause and Menstrual policy
K2LD is committed to providing an inclusive working environment for all staff throughout all stages of their working lives and offers permanent staff 6 additional sick leave days on top of government requirement.
