Experiential design requires a human-centered approach that goes well beyond functionality, but rather ignites a series of unforgettable moments and immersive encounters throughout the guests journey. Every interaction should become a canvas for visual or physical participation. Our design role is to understand guests’ desires and translate these through a combination of journey mapping, persona refinement, collaborative co-creation and visual prototyping.
This enables us to create spaces that are imbued with a sense of discovery and enchantment, whilst still offering an underlying level of functional comfort and joy – both essential when creating lasting memorable experiences that will be photographed, videoed and ultimately talked about. The mapping of the movement and flow of people is also essential in understanding the spatial relationships between different areas and ensures the ability to curate and manage guest experiences at high traffic areas.
