SIA Architectural Design Awards 2020: Pascoe Vale Community Centre

We’re excited to announce that our project, Pascoe Vale Community Centre, has been awarded the SIA Architectural Design Award by Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA). One of the drivers for our design was to create a gathering point for every age – from one to one hundred years old.

“For the all-rounded consideration of site, function, users, and most importantly, for its unwavering commitment to engage with the neighbours and community, the architects for Pascoe Vale Community Centre exemplify the architect as an activist in the community, championing for the social ideals that they believe in.” – SIA Awards 2020

One of the drivers for our design was to create a gathering point for every age – from one to one hundred years old.

“The Jury appreciates the thorough consideration of spaces that cater to the different user groups. From the safe zone for children play activated by vibrant colours, to sensitively catering to the adults in the building’s connection to park space and fitting nicely into the ground, equal participation of the designer and the users to realise the project is witnessed on many different levels.” – SIA Awards 2020.
