We’re very excited to announce the beginning of construction for Ukiyo – a multi-residential project in the eclectic suburb of Prahran, Victoria. With demolition of the display suite now complete, we attended a soil turning ceremony along with Chapter Group, Neoscape and Element 5 to mark this important milestone.

Conceptually, the apartments were to embrace their surrounds in the buoyant spirit of Ukiyo’s joie de vivre. The exterior, visibly composed of intersecting lines of mullions, panels and fins, softened by verdant green, echo the surrounding movement of trams, trains, people and traffic. The building has a unique vantage point, granting the resident an honest and absolute panorama of Prahran life, without sacrificing guests’ privacy and seclusion.

In light of Ukiyo’s construction commencing, we’d like to thank all current team members at K2LD who have worked so diligently on this project. We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm and cooperation you’ve poured into Ukiyo. This includes (in no particular order) Michael Erwin, Ronan O’Brien, Marisa Hang, Luke Pupillo, David Lee and Tisha Lee.
