Epsom Road

Our narrative-driven approach focused on the idea of “One Horse, Two Persona”. An exploration into the two identities found within the same creature – on the track and in the field. This would be brought to life through the building’s two unique façade expressions.

Vibrant, dynamic forms facing Epsom road, mirroring the playful nature of the horse free in the field; sleek and slender forms look toward the track, celebrating the acceleration & speed of the horse in full flight.

Nature and greenery make up a large part of the land, shap- ing the creation of our project. Our intent is to not just cre- ate a building, but a surrounding environment for all to enjoy the grounds. In collaboration with Enlocus, the landscape has been designed for all seasons.

Summer with a mix of native grasses and bring pink peonies, Winter with great lemon-scented gums. Maple trees and poppy flowers cover the autumn ground with a crimson glow, while Spring boasts verdant hornbeams and purple Jacarandas.
